Worship is not just church-going.
It is more than a prayer you sing,
It is more than writing a song
So much more than a gift you bring.
Worship is more than what you do,
Worship is more than what you say.
Yes, it is more than bowing low—
Lots more than finding time to pray.
Worship—bigger than all of this—
Reaches up to a higher place.
These are avenues to worship
Only accessible through grace.
Pursuit is the proof of desire.
The Word says, seek and you will find.
God will give you your desires,
If your desires are of this kind.
Worship is a seeking of heart
To bless the heart of God alone.
With honest, open, giving love—
Love not found in a heart of stone.
Living worship is pure and true,
Refreshing and touching God’s throne.
Worshiping lifts you out of yourself—
He will embrace you as His own.
