Joy is not a commodity
You can buy or sell.
Joy is not a feeling
‘cause things are going well.
Joy is deep and so abiding,
Out of your spirit it flows.
Joy bubbles up from the heart of God,
You can feel it down to your toes.
When joy is shared it magnifies,
Who knows how rich and sweet.
It is best sliced while warm
And served to all you meet.
