Little bee, little bee,
Here, let me look at you.
You seem so tired today,
You work too much, it’s true.

Come sit down here with me,
The coffee is “just made.”
Sit down and have a sip—
Might perk you up a shade.

I see that little brace
You have there on your knee.
Aging bees have joint pain,
You need rest, little bee.

Maybe a nap would help—
Lie down here for a while.
Here’s a tiny pillow,
Now you can rest your smile.

Little bee, little bee,
Have you thought to retire?
Try slowing down, little bee—
Or one day you’ll expire!
